The Board of Management of Firhouse ETSS seeks to find collaborative and innovative people who will enthusiastically realise the vision of our school.

If you are interested in joining our dynamic team, it's worth noting that we are:

  • A restorative school that is values-based, committed to building relationships, responding to conflict in a healthy way and, connecting us to our best selves and to each other
  • Using a cross-curricular and team-teaching approach whenever possible
  • Using a virtual learning environment both to communicate and, to store and distribute our learning materials
  • Creating our own digital content and resources instead of using textbooks
  • Committed to fostering student voice and whole-school community engagement
  • Committed to the principles of equality, social justice, democracy and sustainability.

Positions are usually advertised in April/May in advance of the following school year.

Firhouse ETSS is delighted to be a Droichead school. The Droichead process supports the professional learning of Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) during the induction phase, thus laying the foundations of subsequent professional growth and learning for the next phase of a teacher’s career. The Droichead process is facilitated by The National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT).
