The Post Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI) run classes in heritage and lesser-taught languages (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian) to support students around Ireland to prepare for the Leaving Certificate exams. These classes are funded by the Department of Education and are free of charge for students. Classes are run on Saturdays during school term time. We particularly encourage our students whose home language is not catered for in school and which is available with Languages Connect to explore the possibility of studying it outside of school.
