Important information & expectations for 5th Year Exams

  • 5th Year Examinations will take place in Room’s 6&7. Students have been given a copy of the examination timetable.

  • Students must be on time for exams, no extra time will facilitated should a student arrive late.

  • Students are expected to have all materials needed for each exam (e.g. maths set, refill pad, pens, pencils, calculator, etc), teachers are unable to provide these on the day.

  • All students are expected to be present in school for all exam and study sessions.

  • Silence is expected from all students to mimic SEC examination conditions. Should a student not meet this expectations, their paper may be taken by the supervising teacher and they will be asked to leave the exam room.

  • Students are not permitted to hand up their paper/leave any exam early.

  • Should a student need to use the toilet, they must raise their hand to ask permission. They must then bring their paper up to the teacher before leaving the room. Teachers will time stamp when they leave/return.

  • Phones must be turned off and placed in a box on the teachers desk for the duration of the exam.

  • Class lists will be posted on the door of each exam, along with an associated number. Students must sit at the desk with their allocated number.

  • For morning sessions the exam ends at 10:30, students must stay on the school campus for this break.

  • Students are aware of all expectations.
