Important to note before applying!
- The online application form for 1st Year 2024/25 is available from 10:00 on Monday, 2nd October, to 16:00 on Monday, 23rd October 2023, at this link only: https://www.letsenrol.school/Firhouse-ETSS/30131
- The link for Let's Enrol is the only way admissions are processed for incoming first years in October. Please do not use the admission@firhouseetss.ie email adress to express your interest if the application is for incoming first years in October.
- You can complete the form at any time during the three week period for admission. It is NOT a first come first served process. We advise that you do this application in one sitting so that it is fully processed in our system.
Should your child be offered a place according to the process detailed in the Admission Policy, there will be an information evening for parents/guardians and students in February 2024 with a community event in May 2024 to welcome you to the school. There will not be an open day for admission 2024.
Late Applications for incoming 1st Year
If you miss the window for 1st Year applications in October, you can apply to be on the waitlist for 1st Year. Places are dependent on if there are any spaces available left.

Please email admission@firhouseetss.ie with the following details: Your name, your child's name and the year group that you are looking for in mainstream or our ASD class. Please make it clear that you are inquiring about a late incoming 1st Year place. |

If any places become available, the waitlist will be checked. Should you be next on the waitlist, we will contact you and ask you to fill in a form. |

The school will contact you after this to confirm your place. |
Please note that once you have emailed admission@firhousetss.ie, you will be immediately placed on the waitlist. Due to the high numbers of transfer inquiries, we will only contact you should a place become available and you are next on the wait list.
Admission Transfer Students for 2nd, 3rd, TY, 5th and 6th Year 2024/25
*Please note that admission emails should only be sent after 8th April 2024 as this opens the transfer window. Any emails sent before this date will not be added to the wait list. We do not take mid-year transfers*

Step 1

If you are inquiring about a transfer place for a student for the 2024/25 academic year, please email admission@firhouseetss.ie directly with the following information: Your name, your child's name, the year group that you are looking for in mainstream or our ASD class, and reason for transfer. Once we receive this email, your child will be included on the wait list. There is no need to contact the school at this point. |

Step 2
|
After the Spring break, the school will do an audit on what school places, if any, will be available for the next academic year. If any place becomes available, the waitlist will be checked. Should you be contacted after this point, we will ask you to fill in a form and a meeting will be arranged between you, your child and the school principal. |

After this meeting with the school principal, the transfer requests are then considered by the Board of Management. The decision of the Board of Management will be communicated to parents/guardians soon after. |
