We had such a wonderful morning together and the sun was shining which reflected the good mood of all who came along! Frank and our new teachers were delighted to get the opportunity to meet our incoming First Year students and their parents/guardians. We were delighted that Dermot Looney could lead the walk around the Firhouse area and share his humorous insights into the history and lore of what is a rich and eventful past.
After the walk we had our first picnic in the courtyard of Firhouse ETNS. It was a perfect time for ice-cream too! We are so happy to have been warmly welcomed in the national school where we will start our new school this August.
This event was a really lovely way to get to know each other and we look forward to seeing everybody when we open on Monday, August 27th!
